The Easi-Grade
82SST is an 82 inch wide trimmer that can be fitted to any of
today's skid steer loaders. This machine has automatic
controls mounted inside the cab of the skid steer loader which
operate the 82SST. These controls have four main functions:
grade control,
slope control, on/off control, and forward/reverse control.
Grade is maintained hydraulically through a sensor that follows a
string line which automatically raises and lowers the 82SST, or
the operator can manually control height adjustment with buttons
on the control panel. Slope control is obtained with a dial
setting on the controls inside the cab, then a slope sensor
monitors and maintains the desired slope angle. On/off and
forward/reverse are controlled with simple toggle switchs.
With the precision obtained through this electronics system 5-6
inches of sub-grade can be trimmed leaving a final grade ready to
pour concrete. This machine is perfect for pre-trimming a
tight radius before using a slip-form paving machine. It is
an excellent way to save yield by assuring that your grade is
exactly where you need it to be.
